The January 2022 security update for Realme X7 Max comes with the firmware version RMX3031_11_A.22. According to the changelog, it brings the Android security patch level to January 2022 and fixes the black screen problem and no response problem while viewing pictures. The latest OTA update for Realme X7 Max is still based on Android 11. It is currently rolling out in India and should expand to more regions in the coming days. Those who have not received it yet should manually check the status by navigating to Settings » Software Updates.
Realme X7 Max is also eligible for Android 12 OS upgrade, which comes with the Realme UI 3.0 skin at the top. The good thing is that the brand has already released the Realme UI 3.0 beta build. It means that the users do not need to wait long for the stable build to arrive.
